What do Hispanic girls down south in Mexico like for gifts, But not Money. I met a few, and I know they don’t make much money in Mexico, So I was thinking what they would enjoy as a gift that they would find out of their personal budgets. Thanks for any tips. Plus what cigarettes do they like to smoke?

jewelry, watches, liquor? clothes, fancy food? of course it's better to customize gifts according to the person's interest if you know them.

Pride. Plus money isn't personal, nor can it be saved; has no sentimental value. Cigarettes: Boots.

Yes you can. I do only contact work, and I get paid a hourly rate and all expenses, expenses include hotel, rental car, gas, meals, and airline ticket home every weekend. I fly in Monday morning and fly out Thursday afternoon. Then work from home on Friday. I know several people that I work with that live in Canada and fly in to the US. So I sure you could do the same from Mexico. You would just need to live by a major airport. Sometimes you can get projects that you can do remotely. The client like this as they don't have to pay expenses then. I do SAP consulting.

Summer is probably less expensive overall, but the deistination does not have a true season, like a place like Cancun does. Just try to avoid any holiday periods...

I quickly made a check and found the average price to be 660 to San Diego, CA. You're better off going to San Diego then taking the San Diego Trolley to Tijuana. When you arrive at Lindbergh Field you can take a shuttle to the trolley which will take you to the border for about 2.50 US dollars. The border is 15 minutes from the airport by car, and about 45 using the trolley.

This sounds like a question that sould be in the "Homework Help" section of Yahoo Answers as it has nothing to do with Travel in Mexico.Good luck with your assignment.

Poverty in Mexico is different than poverty in the U.S. There are no food stamps or WIC for poor families. No Medicaid, and few social welfare programs. Poverty in Mexico is living in a tin or thatch shack with dirt floors, cooking outside on a wood fire, maybe having a waterpipe outside to get water from...maybe not. No washer, no stove, no refrigerator. I live in Mexico. I have friends and neighbors who are "poor"...live in a one room house , but have a cement floor, running water, a bathroom. a gas stove. But others live in what we would call a shack, dirt floors, wood fires, no indoor plumbing. Most of the extremely poor can neither read nor write and had less than 3 years of school. The education system has room for a GREAT deal of improvement, but at least there is more emphasis on education now and the children of the very poor are more likely to go to school than their parents...IF there is a school available. and IF it is any good. In some parts of the country, this is a great problem. Many of the illegals who enter the U.S. are from these circumstances, and are desparate to better themselves and take care of their families. Seeing this first-hand helps one understand them a little bit better. This does NOTmean I think Immigration...either legal or illegal is the solution..but it does help me understand.

I just got back from Mexico and was looking for a job. If you are unskilled and work at a hotel you make around 30 - 50 pesos a day. I could not find any jobs that required an education, but they are there.

Imagine. A family with economy necessities earns per week around 80-100 dlls. U.S. pays good money per hour comparing with Mexico. Some people who lives in poverty in your country it's cuz they lazy.
