I am going to be an RN and I'm thinking about moving to Morelia. How much money could a nurse make there?

I am a retired R. N. living in Mexico. I have been told R.N.'s make about $100.00 a week in Mexico. That may vary place to place, but it is definetly true that you would make only a small fraction of what you can make in the United States. You would be much better off to work in the United States, save up and make trips to Mexico when you are able. When you finish school, you could work for a couple of years in a hospital, get good experience, then become a "traveller" in the states if you like. Travelling nurses usually make a higher wage and have 3 month assignments. Then you could take 3 months at a time off if you like to travel to Mexico. It is also difficult to get a work visa in Mexico, and your standard of living would be Waaayy lower here on what you could earn here. Actually, i believe you should get a good job with a great retirement plan...then after 20 yrs...when you are eligible for your pension...you can move to Mexico and live quite well!

I heard that there are people who buy cars in So Cali that won't pass emission (but other than that in good working condition), and then reselling them in Mexico. But that's just what I heard. Good Luck...

Yes it's possible to make money , but you don't get as much money if you sell it in the U.S

It must be very profitable. The crips and bloods do it all the time. Of course, they are stolen cars, so that improves profit margins considerably.

Reported on TV news that Mexicans were coming to USA because they could only make $2. 00 a week in Mexico and could make $200, 00 a week in USA. Ready to go to Mexico and start a labor movement????

They have the super rich who live better than kings and treat the poor people worst than slaves. The children has to prostitute in the streets to eat. No welfare, no social security so old people sell gum on the beach to survive. No matter how poor they give to beggers of old people. work all day for a dollar. which won't even buy enough to eat for the day. The government is ran by the rich and they pass the laws and keep the poor very poor to keep down wages so they make more money. that is what is happening in this country. Soon it will be owned by the rich and you won't be able to make a living wage. Big business owns the country. They lie and say we can't raise the minimum wage but raise there wages 10 times. We are headed for the same situataion as they have in Mexico and we will be wanting to cross the border. That is their only hope of survival. Why do they take the chance of dieing in the desert? that is their only hope.

I worked in an engine plant in coahuila, mexico, and the average line worker made about 100 bucks a week...even in mex, it was tough to get by on that. The guys with more experice, the team leaders made 200-300 bucks a week. The supervisors made around 600 bucks a week, and lived pretty well for the area And I, the gringo engineer, made around $1500 a week : )

I want to go down south and find a car that is not rusted out, and bring it up north and sell it for a profit. Is this a good idea?l have traveled around the states.What about buying a car in Mexico and driving it up here?

Bad idea. The cost of traveling to find and purchase thes cars and transporting the vehicles back up north will probably reduce your profits down to next to nothing. The only way it would be practical is if you bought a dozen (or more) cars at a time. That way you would reduce your expenses. Importing a car from Mexico is another situation completely and not one that you would want to get into.

I am a sophmore. Quick summary of things I need help with. I am going on a cruise in December to Mexico that is about 300$ and then in may im going to Rome and Paris for school thing. I need help on ways to make money because that school trip is 3,204 $ at least. Imma cash in savings bonds that will be abot 450$, but where can I get the rest of the money from...please I'm desperate and I don't have a job and I can't get one till im 16 in march,

hey lovie :) Long time no contact eh! Um there are a few ways to make money. Ask to do extra chores around the house to raise your allowance. Put in a good word to your family and friends that you would be interested in babysitting (i do it quite often- you'd be surprised how much money you make!) Ask neighbors/friends/aunts/uncles/etc whether they need someone to do their gardening... you could even help out by tutoring younger children with maths or science problems? Oh and if its a school thing, you might be able to organize fundraisers to help other students as well as yourself who need a bit of cash- sell cakes for a few dollars each... the usual fundraising stuff :) The thing to remember is that money doesn't come easy, you're going to have to work for it- and as you need quite a lot in a small amount of time, you're going to have to work especially hard for it!
