The Feds Make it easier to send money to Mexico?
While the federal government ostensibly attempts to crack down on illegal immigration, the Federal Reserve is trying to make it easier for illegal aliens to send money home. The Fed is expanding its “Directo a Mexico†program encouraging U.S.financial institutions to offer remittance services to Mexico. At the same time, Mexican business and government leaders are beginning to question the country’s economic policy of relying on money Mexicans send home from the United States.Mexicans send over $ 24 billion per year, What is your take on this,is it a good thing? If they are legal and sending money to their loved ones that plan to stay in mexico or also come here legally, then it's OK.
