depends in which part of the country you live. But the highest minimum wage is around 58.00 PESOS A DAY. that IS A DAY consisting of 12 hr. shifts and one rotating day off a week. do not worry, some companies will give the shirt of their back and pay you 2 minn. salaries a day.

I lived in Mexico on and off for 2 years. My children's father worked 12 hours a day loading sand in trucks which there was alot of them that did that and he made usally like 20.00 dollers a day u.s. money 200.00 pecos thou. So there you have it.

I think that depends on where you are working I know that when we go to the resorts we all tip heavy so that wage has got to go up The bartending jobs must be a commodity there. When we were in Cancun my cousin gave the bartender 100.00 on the first day to open an hour early. but I always tip the maid 2.00 bucks a day the bartender 5.00 a day and the wait staff 2.00 each meal. I watch the bar staffs tip jar and it's pretty darn full each day.
