How can a busy student earn some money?
lol I know how this sounds, but i'm busy with my studies! I'm a senior in high school and do not have a time for a coventional job. this is problematic, as I am finicailly restrained from buying and doing things, like getting the occasional new CD and going on mission trips to Mexico. Addationally, I need to put money away for college and retirement. Do you have any idea on how i might be able to either make time for a coventional job or make money in some other way that doesn't require too much time? phreaps you can point me towards some resources? Thanks for your help. thanks for all of you guys who have givin me advice so far, but for those of you who say i can make lots of money doing easy stuff on the internet, i'm not buying it. sorry. even if i did get paid, it doesn't sound like the work would be ethical, or even legal. it may be that your job is to give these types of answers of Y! It is the only job I can think of where, averaged over one weeks time, you can make $20-$30 an hour, only work 4 hr shifts (depending on the time the restaurant closes of course), meet tons of people, and get teh cash right away!! Serving tables put me through college and now that I have a degree I even contemplate going back every now and then!! lol. You can't beat the money and it really isn't THAT hard to do......it's more fun than difficult especially if you choose a restaurant with an atmosphere you like and fits your own personality (ex. bar if you like bands/music, fine dining if you like quite conversations etc.). You'll make $150 day if you can work a double on Saturdays. And the scheudle is usually flexible so you could do that......work 1 day a week :) good luck!

I really was not sure if this was the right category or not. But what kind of tree do they use to make money? Someone said they used a tree from mexico? But that doesn't sound right to me.

Besides that, you have a fresh brain, two legs and two arms and can do as much if not more then some adults. Its not easy to make money, but its not impossible. Money requires brain, adaptation to various scenarios and perspicacity. At 15, I was making bus tours to New York city, from Montreal. My advertising was going in the classified, word of mouth and some electric poles. I was counting on the 47 spaces in a bus, taking out mine, the one of the bus drivers, and one more for an animator. I was trying to make $65 profits per head, paying the animator $300 + expenses and after all expenses, I was making over $2000,00 over a long weekend. Check regulations about touristic activities, if its prohibited, I am sure there is something just as good you can come up with.

I am wondering how much players can make playing overseas or in places like Mexico and Canada. Also, what is the competition like in these areas compared to NCAA D2 and D3. Thanks for NO HELP everyone. First of all Allen Iverson doesn't make 45 Mil/ yr. He just got a new contract for 76 in 4 yrs. Simple math is 76/4 = 19/yr. But don't be fooled by that number because you can do alot more with a dollar in Eastern Europe than you can in the United States. A person who's payed $300K in east Europe can live like a millionaire in the US. When it comes to competition, I don't know how to compare because of the different style of play. Think about this, one of the better Bosnian centers is entering the NBA draft this year and he's expected to get picked late 2nd round. That might help you. Then again it depends where you want to go and what style of play you prefer. In Germany you'll get paid more than in Poland but the competition is greater so the pay has to be better too. I read somewhere that the people who immigrated to America from Mexico are living basically the same way they did in Mexico. Most are doing similar jobs than they did back home in Mexico but are making more money here. But their standard of living and way of life is pretty much the same because even though they are making more money in America, the cost of living is so much more here, so it is a wash. Then what did they accomplish in coming here?

I need help ! I was in the middle of trying to start my own buisness so ive already begged stole and borrowwed all i could just to survive these last months. and now last week i slipped and broke my foot. im already 3 months behind on my rent. to make matters worse i am 2500 miles from home with very little friends or family and i barely speak the language here. I dont have anyone else i can turn to.I dont even have anything i could sell for money. Are there any ways i could make money online that would pay off right away ? what about begging for money online is there anyway to do it ? I got deported last year from the U.S. , i grew up there and dont even know anyone in mexico. im trying to make the best of it, i dont drink or do hard drugs. i have had some limited success w/ a small buisness but need a bit more time and of course $ before it really allows me to live on it. I just spent my last ten bucks on groceries. I have 2 days to come up with 3 months rent. I get paid minimum wage (7.50) in New Mexico. I worked 49 and a half hours. That includes taking off for 35 minute breaks when I work 6 or more hours. Considering how much they take for taxes (for living at home with parents still) about how much will I make?

Mexico is actually a fairly violent and corrupt country. The violence right now is worse than ever - there are drug wars going on down there. Innocent people are being beheaded for essentially no reason (including women and children). As to corruption, well, it's always been bad. American businesses won't invest there because their property can be seized by the government at any time for any reason. The same is true for Mexican 'citizens' also. Get too rich down there and you BETTER be paying bribes (big ones) to whoever is 'top dog' in that city - or you and your family will be murdered. They might start by just killing your wife or your youngest child so that you will know that they mean business. There is no welfare system in Mexico and nothing like the USA's Social Security system. Right now, they are 'shooting themselves in the foot'. Tourism is (or was) a big part of Mexico's economy. Nowadays, most sane people are staying away from Mexico. They are losing all their tourism dollars.

Already the complaints from the illegals from Mexico regarding the Immigration Bill are being heard, which is no big surprise to me. One of their complaints, is the $5,000 fee they must pay as a step towards citizenship. What I would like to know is, if most of them only make $10 a day in mexico then how could they save up $3,000 to pay the coyote's fee? Did they complain about this fee? We gave $1 Billion to Mexico within the last two years, where did that Money go?

If you will visit the web sites of LULAC, La Raza and look at their awards dinners and the costs of them, you will see that the tickets are extremely expensive. One of the Hispanic organizations was charging $15,000 for a ticket and the awards only went to Hispanic supporters -- none went to Law-abiding U.S. Citizens who didn't support this discrimination. If you will go to the American Muslim Voice website, you will find links to the Resistance groups. The same is true for La Raza and MeCHA. La Raza was cited for teaching its radical views in California Schools, but nothing really came of it. Our government is apparently not interested in protecting U.S. Citizens but is more interested in protecting terrorists and those who would commit organized crime and become gang members. That's evidenced by the few arrests that are made and the thousands of illegals (potential terrorists) who cross our borders every single day. If our government would start enforcing our laws that are already on the books immediately, they would make a huge dent in the illegal immigrant population and trafficing and even on the drug wars. But the government is not doing their job. That's why the anti-illegal immigrant extremist groups are popping up. They are trying to protect their own property and the government is jailing them and punishing them instead of the real criminals. Governor Rod Blagojevich started a loan program to help illegal immigrants obtain loans (I-Loans) and the ALL KIDS program that helps illegal immigrant children get health insurance. What has he done for the U.S. Citizens lately?

I'm a college student, and I'm going to be studying abroad in Mexico for a semester. What is the easiest way to deal with money there? It seems that the cheapest way is to just use a credit card as much as possible (there is a fee for using a credit card, but there is also a fee for using an ATM or getting a wire transfer), but I'm wondering if it might make sense to convert a good amount of money at a bank or currency exchange in the states before going to Mexico, or if the exchange rate there would be as significant as the fee of a credit card or whatever. Can anybody help me? Also, any tips in general about living in Mexico are appreciated. I've taken a preparation course and done some reading, so advice such as "Don't drink the water" is rather redundant, but if you have some little-known advice, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Depending on the kind of school and the city / are it is located. Teachers' wages vary widely. But preschool doesn't pay much. As for the exact amount, I cannot say but some ppl I know were making about US$5 an hour. I don't know if that's still accurate.

Hey, well actually is gonna be almost impossible to make the same amount of money you are making in the US. But the living in Mexico is way cheaper than the States. If you speak english and spanish the best option is to teach in a Private School, most of them bilingual. You can be making more than a Goverment School and they might not ask for Legal Work status in Mexico. Good Luck

luis v is correct in his posting. i made the wage of $2.50 per hour at a private school back in 1996 in morelia. and i did not need the paperwork to work there as it was a private school and there are some laws they can play with to get you to work right away. i was paid by the schools "exchange fund"...whatever that means.....actually, that means that if i took spanish classes ( i did tke one) there would be an exchange for my teaching....after the one class was over, i then just got paid regularly. it was a private school that also had spanish classes and high school classes. private schools will pay more. certain cities will pay more than others too. guanajuato, aguas calientes, tabasco, parts of veracruz, monterey, cabo san lucas.....have money in them....even parts of mexico city and guadalajara have money there i hear cuernavaca is very very nice to live in . one of the few places i did not go to yet.... there are some towns where it is not so awesome to live in. aguascalientes is sorta not all that exciting....the city in tabasco state (villahermosa) is incredibly hot and sanitized...and veracruz state has places where it is super hot too. that state is not my favorite. some cities in guanajuato are way cool, others are just business centers. i taught in morelia, michoacan, mexico back then, the minimum wage was more or less $2.18 per DAY...i made that per HOUR. i only had to pay 50 dollars per month for a room with a shared living area tho. now, well, perhaps whatever hte per day minimum is, you can just think of your wage as that per HOUR. good luck.

Why not just legalize the drugs, regulate them at the state level, tax them higher than alcohol and smokes and make money off importing them and exporting them, the crime would decrease and would become a new world market, no more fighting drug and giving out $$.

They'll be throwing some money to the populous soon enough, and it won't be a paltry 197Mil, try to the tune of 500Bil. When that gets passed out, look out. Inflation city bubba, it's coming our way, a necessary evil. Watch and see if I'm off-base. Hope that helped.

I guess you could try: Baby-sit Mow lawns Pull weeds Do chores for an elderly neighbor or relative Deliver newspapers Collect and recycle aluminum cans Rake leaves Walk dogs and/or train them Bring in the papers for neighbors when they are on vacation Wash cars

Your best bet considering the deadline would be to sell things you already own that you don't need. It's going to be a pretty boring vacation without being able to afford to do anything. My suggestion would be to have at least $100 a day for the amount of time you're there to cover food and activities but I don't know if that's possible at this point. Did someone just appear at your door to offer you a trip or have you been putting off the need to earn money??? If you can't scrape up money by selling things you have, start asking family and friends for donations (not loans) to help you out for this time. In the future think ahead.

Maybe, maybe not. The best way to get wealthy is to spread your investments around - i.e. 'diversify', so that you won't lose everything if the one company you invested in goes bust. But on the other hand, if you are really lucky, not diversifying can work out well, because if the company makes a ton of money, you will do better since ALL of your investments are with that company instead of just some. But still, most people would say diversification is the best bet with the least risk.

Gold mine in Mexico???? Sounds like your dad just got ripped off! Non-citizens of Mexico have no property rights, therefore anything that the mine digs up, your family has no LEGAL claim to it. Also, gold and platinum are not found together in the same place. Take a geology course!

How can I sell older used heavy equipment in Mexico. What are some sources that I can check on?
I am an dirtwork contractor that is also in used heavy equipment (dump trucks,dozers,tractors,etc.) sales. I have heard that there is a good market in Mexico for older machinery due to the lack of current technology. I am interested in finding out more about this in order to find a new market, as well as use this for a chance to be able to visit Mexico and make monye at the same time. I constantly see Meicans towing older vehicles down the interstate to Mexico. I would also like to know what the equipment would bring there compared to here. If there are any other ideas as to what I could do to be able to visit the country and make money at the same time along these similar lines they would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, King

Instead of fighting against Mexicans why doesn't the US make Mexico the 53rd state?
All this time and money is being wasted to keep these people out when it could actually be more beneficial to merge Mexico with the US. US & Mexico are culturally similar and there would be no integration problems. Mexico would add a pool of cheap labour to the economy. As one nation, easy travel, unhindered trade and the bargaining power of an entire continent would benefit all citizens. What do you think of my idea?

Apparently you've never studied Mexican culture. Sure we might have the same culture along the border but go deeper south and it's a different story. We different governments, different policies, and different languages. It'll never work.

There are manly laws and regulations that would have to be enforced. the alcohol and drug together would take years to solve. Not to mention the new borders built and immigration regulation needed.

There are 31 states in Mexico so it would be 81 States in the Union. Where did you get 53? there are only 50 States now, Mainly because Puerto Rico keeps refusing to take statehood. We would have to annex it one state at a time, to give the Feds time to use the rico statutes to arrest the cartels in each state. Mean while we would have to declare marshal law to control the borders while we were arresting the cartels. The sad thing is WE actually owned mexico for a couple of weeks back in the 1800's. Congress refused to annex it, so we gave everything back except the National Socialist Republik of Kalifornia, New Mexico, Arizona, and Nevada. Plus annexing Mexico would create millions of jobs. ( Dem's would require WIC offices, Welfare offices, free Health Clinics, and HUD housing be built in EVERY town) Annexing Mexico would give us Access to our own Oil supply so we could let the middle east kill each other off without ruining our economy. Plus the tourism sites, the historical sites, it sounds good to me. Convince our Govt. and theirs and i'll go live in the Yucatan.

Many Americans think that the majority of Mexicans in Mexico are poor but I have been there many times because i'm Mexican and have half of my family there and I would say that they all live just as good as I do and my wealthiest relative lives in Mexico and has never set foot in the United States. Try babysitting, house sitting, dog walking, mowing lawns, anything that you can set your own hours. Work at carnival food stands, you'll need to apply when they are setting up. Plus some food stands work at flea markets during the week. Some places will work around your schedule even in you are moving around alot. Try babysitting, house sitting, dog walking, mowing lawns, anything that you can set your own hours. Work at carnival food stands, you'll need to apply when they are setting up. Plus some food stands work at flea markets during the week. Some places will work around your schedule even in you are moving around alot. Places like Mc Donalds, and Burger King, it sucks working for fast food, but if you let them know that you only want to work for a few hours a week they can work with you. good luck. P.S. and I don't mean mowing lawns or cleaning the house or babysitting, I mean anything out there that I can do at thirteen? And no answers like "wait two years and find out" I mean like something. I live in New Mexico if that has anything to do with it.

The only places i know of that will employ under 18's are paper rounds, but they usually pay very little, and markets. Go to your local market and ask around. These jobs are usually very menial but pay well. These jobs are like gold dust to get, but if you get one your set for a few months money wise

i'm 13, nearly 14& i need to make quite a bit of money by december (for a holiday, with friends to Mexico) anyway, all my neighbours are horrible&wouldnt pay me to do anything, my mum doesn't give me an allowance& my dad doesn't live with me&wouldn't give me anything, if i asked, he doesn't give my mum any money, and he gives us no money on birthdays/christmases. so how can i make money, thank you phoebe xx

Well once you turn 14 you can get a job at Sonic and maybe some other fast food places. They can only work you 18 hours a week during school and 40 hours during the summer. However they can't work you past 7pm during the school year and can't work you past 9pm during the summer. It's state law. Till then maybe try to get a baby sitting job or something. That's really about it. I hope this helps.

Cook for the elderly if you can (small things like a grilled cheese, sandwiches, mac and cheese, etc.), All these can help u to get money fast.

How can I live in one country and make money in another?
I am trying to find a way that I can earn my living in the US but live in mexico. Are there any jobs that i could do 100% online? I am american citizen, currently working on my BA in Networking and Telecommunication, is there another degree that would better suite my needs?
