Should the US taxpayers send more $$ to Mexico to fight drug trafficking?
There are plans within the Bush admin to send more money to Mexico to fight drug trafficking. Do you think that more money is needed? Do you think there is a way to stop drugs from being shipped through Mexico to the USA? Will more money make the corrupt officials that allow the drugs through to become less corrupt?

No, and I think it is just a payoff to try to get the Mexican government to help with border control, and we ought not to be doing it.

No, the illegals who are here alreayd send enough of our money back home.

No, I think the president needs to fix our own broken country. A way to fix it? A great big high fence all along the Mexico, US border with robot survillence and armed guards at certain checkpoints. And when the border guards apprehend and shoot drug offenders, do not send the guards to prison for protecting our country.

Heck no. It's interesting what the Republicans like to throw money at, isn't it? Programs that don't work or benefit friends in high places (low places).

Sounds like another hole our government is throwing tax dollars down. The War on Drugs has been an ineffective boondoggle since the Reagan years. As you implied, we'll only be lining the pockets of corrupt Mexican officials.

NO

Better to fight drugs over there than to fight drugs over here.

I am for that in a round about way. We can spend money on well placed bombs in Mexico, I would support that. Bomb the suppliers and makers, problem solved.
