How about yard work? There are weeds to pull and laying mulch in preparation for the cold. Fall is coming, people need help getting their yards ready for fall. You could also walk dogs. You just need to knock on doors and put flyers on poles.

Quick money for a teen! I need something different...what can a 16 year old do to make quick money!!!?
Hi you guys. Im 16 and I really want to start making some money. I am now eligible to get a job and plan on getting one, but I kinda want to do something on the side. So can anyone and I mean ANYONE please give me some bright ideas. Im trying to save up for a used car on craigslist AND a trip to Mexico in september. (Its only 500) I need something that can make me some money FAST!! I'm very creative, I could type papers for people, good with writing, good with projects, don't have the patience to make jewelry, don't have the materials to make clothes(nor the patience lol) ....I know Im difficult but there has got to be SOMETHING I can do to make some quick money!! Please help you guys!

Why do you think you got tired of all the legit answers that tell you to babysit or sell candy? Because that is all there is out there... Thanks for inviting every spam account that was created today... not that they will live long. Get your work permit and get a job. There is no way to make quick money on the internet.

A great way to make money online is to have a successful blog. You have to be realistic and know that it is not easy to make instant cash online. You have to build your sites reputation a little bit and do some work, but it can really pay off. There are bloggers out there making up to $10,000 a month. It's almost like self job creation. You are at your full time job working a few hours a week building your blog. Than moving to a part time job while working a few hours a week on your blog obtaining an income from it, than eventually you won't need a job and you will be working from home and on track to potentially retiring early. If you are curious and want to look into making some money through blogging over time, than I would head over to www.Kleek.ca and look at the free 6 day eCourse they have called "Pocket Change Profits". It gives excellent tools and techniques to earning an online income through blogging. Learning is part of the whole process. If you can't commit to learning the right way to make money online than you're never going to share the internet lifestyle that many people enjoy and you might as well stick to that 9-5 job the rest of your life. Look at it this way. Would you rather work hard for a year on creating a stable online income or work hard for the rest of your life at a job you won't ever fully appreciate or enjoy. Another nifty site where you can actually make money instantly is www.mturk.com, compare this to the reality of actually making money online instantly. Making real money online does take time and it is a learning process which has its ups and downs, but it can be a lot of fun along the way and can really pay off!

If i live in the U.S., can I play online poker at Full Tilt for real money and withdraw it later?

If i live in the U.S., can I play online poker at Full Tilt for real money and withdraw it later?
I live in New Mexico and recently signed up at Full Tilt and have been playing for real money. Am I allowed to withdraw this money? I'd like to know because if I can't I will stop playing because it's useless to make money on there if I'm never going to be able to take it out. Thanks in advance.

If I sell a piece of land I own in Mexico, how do I get the money legally to the U.S?

If I sell a piece of land I own in Mexico, how do I get the money legally to the U.S?
What is the process for reporting money to the IRS and what is the best way of making sure that I will not be taxed as much if I were to immediately invest the money in immediately buying land here in the US? The amount of money we're talking about is anywhere between $750,000 or 1,500,000 +. It depends on the sale and buyers. Its not just pocket change.

I'd deposit it into a reputable bank in Mexico and get a debit card and simply spend the money down. How much is it?
2 :
Bank draft. As for how and what to report to the IRS, I'd suggest contacting them directly. Good Luck!
3 :
YIKES!!! For that much money, you need to talk to a tax lawyer before the deal closes ... some kinds of payment options are more taxable than others. If he can save you 5% in taxes, which is quite likely, that would be $37,500 more profit on the lower sale price. Don't try to hide the money ... just do all you can to legally keep your taxes down.

hould I pay taxes in the US from my capital gains in a Mexican account? ?

hould I pay taxes in the US from my capital gains in a Mexican account? ?
I am a Mexican citizen and working in the US with an H1B visa. I have money in Mexico and make capital gains from interests in an account that is in Mexico. I didn't make that money from my work in the US, I had it there before I starting working in the US. I would like to know if I should include those capital gains in my US Tax declaration?

It is in the IRS Code that "worldwide income is inclusive" on the US tax returns. You declare all foreign income in your US tax returns but at the same time you could take deductions on the foreign taxes you paid on those income.
2 :
No, that income is not subject to US taxation under your visa status. Should you become a lawful permanent resident though it WILL become taxable at that point.

Why do taco stands always play circus music and have Mexico flags?

Why do taco stands always play circus music and have Mexico flags?
Why do so many fail health inspections ? Why are they all painted the same color? Would it hurt the taco stand to have a America flag or are they scared to give up their oath to Mexico? Many Mexican Americans complain about the lack of American flags saying the taco stands really want to make money off their oath to Mexico.

To fool the American people into thinking they are getting authentic Mexican cusine......and look at their houses( The ones that have houses) they are painted in the same garish way with Mexi flags and statues Some actually think they are still in Mexico
2 :
They are proud of their heritage. There is nothing wrong with that.
3 :
Geez, why does it matter to you? You obviously have a problem with Mexicans. I think taco stands are good. Is it really hurting you that they play their music? It's better then rap music with all the cuss words. Do you let your children listen to rap music?
4 :
Might be that they think they are still in Mexico. Each time I hear that music here where I live, I look around and wait for a monkey to come over, so I can put some change in his tin cup.
5 :
Because they are very proud of Mexico. They have no intention of ever becoming AMERICANS, which is why they have no business being here. If you love Mexico so much, do us all a huge favor and go back.
6 :
Well, tacos are an invention of mexico. They all fail inspections cause they don't care about regulations, that's the way things work in mexico. This is a big issue, they put mexico flags because they want to make clear it's mexican food, also, they are so proud to be mexicans, the question is, what are they doing here then? If it's america who is feeding them, they should pay some respect. yeah that too,... you put a Mexico flag, and you will attract more mexicans. Hehhe, it;s not circus music, it's some kind of regional or mexican country music.
7 :
they should have the american flag on the stand. when i lived i chicago i saw the mexicans having their parades. they had the american flag above theirs. i knew those was the ones who called america home. the ones who sell off the stands is most likely selling drugs also. why else would they have it painted like that. and their flag on it.
8 :
Why don't you ask one of the Taco Stands owners why? I don't know Bill and I think there are far more important issues about illegal aliens than choice of music or stand paint. After all they are selling a certain type of food and that flag just lets people know what type of food.Or warns others to stay away.My city doesn't allow any thing like that but other city's in Arizona do.I have too many real issues with illegal aliens than to worry about tacos.Besides I make my own, they are better and I know I wash my hands. No restaurants are "safe" anymore. You pay your money and you take your chances.....Its a choice isn't it ?
9 :
I am Hispanic and for me it makes me mad when I see these Mexican flags up outside a taco stand restaurant, grocery store etc. I think they forget what country they are in. I will not buy food from taco stands because I never see them wash their hands. The whole Mexican flag thing is ridiculous. This is America and the only flag that should be flying anywhere is an American flag.
10 :
It's a conspiracy
11 :
They are paying homage to their Mexican God, Nacho Libre.
12 :
they have pride to their home country. I believe that the American flag should always be flown first. It doesn't bother me at all, as long as they learn to respect the American Laws.
13 :
LOL @ circus music. I call it carnival music and it is very irritating.

In Mexico, how are the people who go to America for work viewed?

In Mexico, how are the people who go to America for work viewed?
Are they seen as people who are trying to make money for a better life and approved off? Young people going on an adventure and glamorized? Are they seen as unpatriotic people and shamed? Or is it more pragmatic, like good one more job for someone who stays here? Or one less person to deal with here? Any thoughts?

Well, a derogatory term was designed just for those who go to America looking for work--mojado. It means wet, which basically references how the emerge from the Rio Grande river.
2 :
like nothing, like normal people who go to work? what can someone think when they're basically dying of hunger. And no the young people aren't looked at as if they were going to an adventure because they too go to America for the same reasons as the older do, to provide some money for the family.
3 :
not good
4 :
they should feel they abandoned their country and their people to run somewhere they are not wanted or welcome.
5 :
Lucky! with better looking futures and making more money.
6 :
illegal immigrants who come to America come to better themselves financially. They risk their lives to come and look for a low-wage jobs to feed their children. People criticize them without having any knowledge of how severe their problems are in their own country. Many times it is not even a parent that comes. Sometimes it might be the older siblings who come to work so they can support the rest of their family because their own parents are too old, sick or have died. You want them to come legally but that is near impossible. Getting a working permit is not an easy thing. Unless you have political influences or a bank account with a substantial amount of money then you will be denied a permit. Tell me whats the point of coming here as an illegal if you have that? Anybody in their shoes would do anything to be able to feed or clothe their family. You can critize as much as you want but a parent would rather go through hell and back before they see their children going to sleep hungry and waking up the same way... So in answer to your question. People in their own country do not see them unpatriotic they see their need and wish them luck and hope that this will help their family.

As brave heroes!

It is so common place I doubt anyone gives it much thought at all. The families are grateful for the help financially.
