Why doesn't the US make Mexico part of the US?
We have many companies that moved to Mexico for lower wages. If we took Mexico into our country, and raised cost to companies that left the US. That would be plenty of money across the board. It would take care of all problems. We would just have to work out how the governing bodies will be set up.

They probably don't want to. Why do you think it is your decision to make? That is why countries have armies, to defend themselves from people and states that think like you do. How would you think if China decided to cross the water and make the USA part of China, Since they are selling you all the things you own anyhow.

Probably because the US of A would have to take on, Mexico's pay. We can't afford to live on 10. a week. and they can't afford minimum wage there.

Not gonna happen in this life time. Imagine the amount of people rushing to get welfare. It would be worse that Puerto Rico. That filthy little island shouldn't even be a commonwealth. All it they do is breed and run to the states for welfare then run back to live fat on our tax dollars. Mexico would be far worse because they have a larger population but on the plus side they are a better class of people than puerto ricans.

That's a bad idea. Think of all the language problems. Everyone's salaries would go down. All our hospitals and services would be overrun and fail. It would be a mess. No thanks. I like the U.S. as it is.

if you look at it long term, and make it say a 20 year project and not bring in mexico as one huge state, but bring in mexico slowly, mexican state by mexican state, and teach them english and american values, it is actually a really good idea, it'll be a slow process, where everybody can win, mexicans have nothing to lose, hey only gain from such a proposal, except they will have to start calling themselves Americans and English is becoming an international language anyway, and I dont see why they cant be bi-lingual anyway. and then the Union will have probably about 80 or 90 states. its really a good idea when you really think about it.

Duh! That's already happened! Texas, California, New Mexico, Arizona, etc. were all part of the Mexican Nation, until we took it from them! H

Good question. They should. Not only was California once owned by Mexico, but Mexico is close enough that it could be our 51st or 52nd state. But I guess, the Federal government in Washington D.C. doesn't want to take that action.They're lazy.

We didn't steal jack s***. And Mexico pretty much already is here.It's called L.A.,Arizona,Texas. They are everywhere and moving up through the states. Too damn many of them. How can anyone justify them being here illegally?You must think it is ok to go steal cars,because they must need one real bad,rape because they need that too,and murder must not be any big deal since he probably needed to be killed right? If you can justify 1 than you are justifying it all And there is no justifying any of it!!! They sneak here they do not walk in properly and some of you think this is OK? I don't get that. I am all for it through legal channels but they are a drain on OUR country's systems and yes many are on welfare,and criminals. They pop out a kid every 9 months so they can stay since their kids are legal citizens.Isn't that precious.It isn't like that in any other country in the world but here.After all it isn't the kids fault so we would be punishing them by sending them all home!!
