How to transfer money from Mexico to my bank account in USA?
Right now, I live in Mexico, but I have a checking account in USA. I would like to know if anyone knows how to transfer money from Mexico (preferably cash) to my bank account in the States? What is the cheapest and fastest way? I`m with BB and T if that makes any difference. Thanks!

a wire transfer would be the fastest and depending upon how much it will probably be the cheapest.

How much do preschool teachers make in Mexico?

How much do preschool teachers make in Mexico?
I am a preschool teacher in the US, and I am thinking about traveling to Mexico , for a new expirience. Can I expect the same amount of money?

Depending on the kind of school and the city / are it is located. Teachers' wages vary widely. But preschool doesn't pay much. As for the exact amount, I cannot say but some ppl I know were making about US$5 an hour. I don't know if that's still accurate.

Hey, well actually is gonna be almost impossible to make the same amount of money you are making in the US. But the living in Mexico is way cheaper than the States. If you speak english and spanish the best option is to teach in a Private School, most of them bilingual. You can be making more than a Goverment School and they might not ask for Legal Work status in Mexico. Good Luck

luis v is correct in his posting. i made the wage of $2.50 per hour at a private school back in 1996 in morelia. and i did not need the paperwork to work there as it was a private school and there are some laws they can play with to get you to work right away. i was paid by the schools "exchange fund"...whatever that means.....actually, that means that if i took spanish classes ( i did tke one) there would be an exchange for my teaching....after the one class was over, i then just got paid regularly. it was a private school that also had spanish classes and high school classes. private schools will pay more. certain cities will pay more than others too. guanajuato, aguas calientes, tabasco, parts of veracruz, monterey, cabo san lucas.....have money in them....even parts of mexico city and guadalajara have money there i hear cuernavaca is very very nice to live in . one of the few places i did not go to yet.... there are some towns where it is not so awesome to live in. aguascalientes is sorta not all that exciting....the city in tabasco state (villahermosa) is incredibly hot and sanitized...and veracruz state has places where it is super hot too. that state is not my favorite. some cities in guanajuato are way cool, others are just business centers. i taught in morelia, michoacan, mexico back then, the minimum wage was more or less $2.18 per DAY...i made that per HOUR. i only had to pay 50 dollars per month for a room with a shared living area tho. now, well, perhaps whatever hte per day minimum is, you can just think of your wage as that per HOUR. good luck.

Making and distributing counterfeit U.S. currency are punishable by serious time in federal prison. Technically that also includes photocopying U.S. bank notes.
2 :
You're technically not even allowed to destroy money, yet alone counterfeit it. Also, about the idea of spending fake US money in Mexican strip clubs, that'll get you taken outside and beaten, possibly to death, really fast. I wouldn't advise it.

Federal prison dude
4 :
You , can ,but you need to do certain things to make it known it's counterfeit. I think it needs to be a certain size, and you need to add some words. I don't remember what they are. And tipping strippers in mexico with COunterfeit is dangerous if not illegal. I am more worried what the club would do to you.
5 :
Yes, you may not make counterfeit money. However, "money art" is different. You can draw a dollar bill as a piece of art. If you use a counterfeit bill in any foreign land, you can be charged with passing counterfeit money in both the foreign nation and here in the U.S. as well. If you get caught using fake money to tip strippers at the club in Mexico, the best thing that could happen to you is being arrested by the cops before the club owners dragged off into a desert killing field.

Why not just legalize the drugs, regulate them at the state level, tax them higher than alcohol and smokes and make money off importing them and exporting them, the crime would decrease and would become a new world market, no more fighting drug and giving out $$.

Just because you want to smoke your weed...

We have an agreement to give $1 to mexico each year per mexican citizen they donate to us. They submitted this years bill for $197 Million. We have to pay or they will stop crossing the border and buying old chevy's.
3 :
this is just one of the many problems our government has. They give money to other countries all the time. Not only money but our jobs too. Yet they want the american people to keep buying and investing. How can we when all the immigrants have our jobs?
4 :
I have thought about his myself, it could create an unproductive society, hehehe. No but really, I think the government is holding out because of some international relations issues. Also, so many rules and regulations would have to be put on the drug. Will there be weed farms? Can you grow it in your backyard? Will there be civil disputes?
5 :
I have to expand your mind to pass on to you a full understanding on why the govt. continues it's prohibition on drugs. so let's break your train of thought with this. Why does the govt. need to get money from you if they can print more of it? answer: taxation is simply a way of controlling societal behavior, A society that works more, produces more, demands more and progresses faster than one which is fat and happy. Drugs tend to make us a bit less driven. Don't get me wrong there are consequences for the govt. printing too much money (devaluation against other currencies). The fed has to split a fine line between keeping you hungry enough to work hard and keeping you fed enough not to revolt. they use taxation to penalize and reward in a way that steers society and business to it's most productive growth model. Money is in essence "just paper" and is worthless without our faith in it and others faith in our govt. and their leadership of our societal growth. About Mexico?197 million is didly squat, really. I know that could make a difference in your hometown, but they have their reasons for not juicing your hometown with the money. They'll be throwing some money to the populous soon enough, and it won't be a paltry 197Mil, try to the tune of 500Bil. When that gets passed out, look out. Inflation city bubba, it's coming our way, a necessary evil. Watch and see if I'm off-base. Hope that helped.
