can i get a passport if im behind on child support?
There's no warrent for my arrest, and the mother isn't pressing the issue, but I am behind. I want a job transfer to mexico to make extra money to get caught up. If I apply for a passport, will I be denied?

If you are in arrears of child support payments in excess of $2,500, you are ineligible to receive a U.S. passport.
