Why do Mexicans hate Mexico?
I don't seem to understand fully. People hate Mexico, so they come to the US to make money. Then they leave the US after accumulating a sum of money, and go back to Mexico. If Mexico is so bad, why don't they rise up and do something about it? Get rid of the government and make your country a productive one. If Mexico was not a piece, do you think that we would want to keep them out?

because mexico has poor politics, poor leaders. Too much corruption, much poverty...the mexican government doesn't care about it's people...why do you think so many want to migrate to the U.S.? they have not built good industry, have not learned how to handle their resources, the economy therefore suffers, the peso can't compete in the foreign market so compared to the U.S. dollar, the peso doesn't add up to much. To come to the U.S. and work, send American dollars back to mexico equals a lot of money when converted to pesos.

Mexico is a poverty stricken area. Crime is rapid, thier is no law in Mexico, unless you can pay for protection. Illegal drug operations are at an all time high in Mexico, with no laws to control the situation. The people are either very rich or very poor. And as we all know the poor have very little say. They hear stories of how Americans live, and want that as well. Where the problem lies is that they are not schooled as to how American politics work, our cultures, or way of life, and think that Americans are accepting of any situation. After all, when an impovished country notices signs posted to go to America, and actual places to go to get free services when they arrive, well, what do you think happens next? For a long time, these signs were posted and distributed to go to Georgia in the United States, much land, many free services, etc. And I'm sure other states as well. As you see, we are not recieving any Doctors, scientists, etc. If we do they stay awhile, then take the money they have earned and go back to Mexico, because they can live like millionares. The poor people stay because America gives away food, clothes, food stamps, welfare, job training, protection, medical services, child care, free rent, etc. etc. And lets not forget free education, college included. great, huh? What happens to the poor American families who are told that they cannot get these services? No tax shelters, and in some states if you have no qualifying children you cannot get medical or dental help because you cannot afford it. Hey, see the total picture.

They have ruined their country and would now like to mooch of the US. They come here saying this is their land. We have taken it from them. They better bring more than 12 million if they want to take it back from us. We will not lay down and let them overrun us. Look at L.A. and you will see what will become of the US if they succeed. The Us is a free handout to them and that is our governments fault. The government had better do something soon or there will be another Boston Tea Party.

My problem is that they don't like Mexico enough that they want to leave, but want to bring it with them. Everyone honors and celebrates their own heritage, but those of us who honor different heritage and the American culture should be respected as well. Particularly since this is the home culture, and they are the ones who chose to come to us. rory, all of that about high crime etc. is happening here now, in part as a result of uncontrolled illegal immigration of gang members from Central America and criminals. Many illegal immigrants are hard workers, but a much higher proportion of those who illegally cross the border are violent criminals including gang members than the proportion in our society as a whole. We don't want those problems brought here. Do illegal immigrants want that here? I mean, isn't that what they were trying to leave behind? Me, I want to secure the border.

Mexicans do not hate Mexico, they just can't survive there. Sure if they can afford school then they stay, but if their family doesn't own a store or something they do migrate to the states. in mexico there are only 2 classes, rich or poor, and many more people r poor than rich. People don't hate their heritage, its just that they cannot afford to stay and surivive on $40 a week. so they do come to work for some time and most do come and go back to start a business. But mostly they have families and eventually stay because their children are born & raised in the US. But i've never met a mexican that said they r coming here to live off of welfare, most come to work for dollars and in hope of a better life. No its not right for them to come illegally, but they aren't going to wait 10 years for a visa. And it doesn't help that our gvmt has let this problem evolve into 12 million undocumented PEOPLE, but its too late and these PEOPLE r here to stay.

Because their government is corrupt and the rich get richer while the poor get poorer. There is no middle ground. They just have a horrible government. You ask why can't they all rise up and change their government and make it sound so easy. Do you honestly think it would be that easy if all the United States citizens decided that we wanted to overthrow our government too? I don't think so.
