Why dont the United States,Canada, and Mexico Make a common currency?
think about it if the Mexican and the U.S. currency were the same they wouldn't ship jobs down there because all they would get is shoddy products and with a common currency with those 3 countries we could beat the euro back into the dirt and take our good money for a cheap vacation in Europe ok look even if you just combined the U.S. and Canada that's two fairly large economies that are bound to turn out a very valuable currency

Until recently, the U.S. dollar was worth a lot more than than money in Canada and Mexico. It does not make sense to devalue our money just so that was are all monetarily "united".

Because they're different countries. It doesn't matter.

Because Mexico would make it worthless. The only reason the Euro has succeeded is because one country isn't invading their neighboor with illegal immigrants. They're more interdependent. Besides, European countries needed it because they're more like states than countries. Think about travelling from New York to Indiana if you had to change your currency three times.
